ABOUT THE COURSE
In this webinar we will take the positive mind shift and balance it with the movement system. Helping clients to understand how past traumas and injuries can affect tension patterns in the body and how to prepare ahead of time for a more easeful and efficient labor.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion, the participant will be able to: Reframe the usefulness of balance between building strength and endurance as well as lengthening and softening to optimize the birth experience. Discover the different ranges of motion and movement patterns specific to the body and the pelvic floor necessary for birth. Develop a plan to balance your clients movement impairments, exercise choices and lifestyle adaptations.
Your Instructor:
Chantal Traub is a certified health coach, doula, childbirth educator, yoga instructor specialized in pre/postnatal yoga and MUTU® Systems trainer and has been assisting expecting families in New York since 2003. She is passionate about educating and informing pregnant people about pelvic health during pregnancy and to train the body and mind for an efficient and positive birth experience. Chantal created her Pushing Power, Protect the Perineum for Birth! and Birthing Strong workshops, which educate about 2nd Stage Labor and the pelvic floor, to push safely and effectively and to minimize damage. Chantal lives in Brooklyn with her husband and 2 children and you can find them hiking upstate or swimming in lakes during the summer.
