1. Understand the guidelines for developing a systematic review. 2. Describe the role of RUSI in the treatment of individuals with SUI.

Your Instructor:

Laurel Proulx is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Certified Specialist and earned her PhD studying the musculoskeletal impairments of women with chronic pelvic pain. Jenny LaCross is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Women's Health Certified Specialist, and PhD Candidate studying movement impairments in active females with hip dysplasia. Laurel and Jenny have a passion for bridging the gap between movement dysfunction and pelvic floor impairments for the athletic population, those with persistent pain, and the pregnant and postpartum population. They also have a vested interest in improving overall awareness and health literacy of pelvic floor issues for their patients, other physical therapists, and the healthcare community. Laurel is current faculty at Regis University and cares for patients both online and in-person through her practice FEM Physical Therapy and Performance in Colorado Springs. Jenny is adjunct faculty at South College and plans to pursue a post doctoral research fellowship in biomechanical engineering and wearable technology for pelvic floor disorders upon completion of her PhD.
