ABOUT THE COURSE

Joint hypermobility and hypermobility disorders are frequently missed as contributing factors to problems in the pelvis such as pelvic floor prolapse and sexual dysfunction. We will cover hypermobility and related conditions and how they relate to these common problems.

Course Objectives:

  • Define joint hypermobility and hypermobility disorders.

  • List ways in which hypermobility can impact the pelvic floor.

  • Recognize the role of hypermobility plays in their patient's (or their own) pelvic floor problem(s).
