Prep H: Hemorrhoids in Pregnancy and the Postpartum Period

From the guest: My interest in pregnancy and postpartum physiotherapy started when I was pregnant with my second child. I was very curious about how women dealt with the physical, emotional and psychological changes in pregnancy. After working for a number of years in various areas of public and private practice, I realized there was significant gap in clinical care for pregnant and postpartum women which inspired me to open Bump Physio & co in 2018. I have taken a number of post graduate courses to advance my skills including CAPP-OB coursework, Pelvic Health level 1 & 2, and I am also fully certified in medical acupuncture and functional dry needling (Kinetacore). I am a passionate life-long learner and continue my ongoing education in women’s health and I’m active member of the Physiotherapy Association of BC and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
