Dr. Susie Gronski

Contact Hours:

1 hour

You'll learn why some fellas experience persistent erectile difficulties, how to perform a hands-on exam for ED, and practical tips to get your patients to think beyond Viagra or Cialis as the only treatment for ED (encourage your patients to find what works for their bodies and stop chasing silver bullets).

Course Objectives:

This workshop isn't a boring lecture: you'll get hands-on and creative. Healthcare is an opportunity to think outside the box, collaborate with patients, and keep learning from your patient’s experiences. At the end of this workshop, you’ll: Be able to perform a hands-on exam for erectile dysfunction. Know how to check for biological risk factors and commonly overlooked psychological and social factors. Create an interconnected treatment plan for your patient, not you patient’s symptom. From psychological and physiological relaxation to reframing traditional views around men and sex, you’ll learn to incorporate many tools for treating ED that most phsyicians are never taught. Learn how the nervous system impacts erectile function. Listen up, the body needs to be relaxed to get an erection! If you’re being chased by a bear, your body knows it’s not the time for getting sexy. Even if fellas aren’t tasty snacks for hungry bears anymore, the nervous system can’t tell the difference between running late for work and running away from a predator.
